The team conducts research on media and information competencies at all stages of formal and non-formal education, as well as on media education as a form of prevention of media addiction. Media addictions are a form of behavioural addiction affecting all age groups.

The team conducts research on media and information competencies at all stages of formal and non-formal education, as well as on media education as a form of prevention of media addiction. Media addictions are a form of behavioural addiction affecting all age groups.
The research focuses on forms of psychoeducational prevention and activities aimed at stimulating the development of media, visual, and communication competencies, particularly in the area of non-verbal communication.
Areas of activity include workshops devoted to these issues, academic and training conferences, lesson plans concerning media education and media addictions, as well as the establishment of a laboratory for the diagnosis and therapy of media addictions.
